This year, Lone Star didn’t offer a high school football team, so there were a few athletes who went to other schools to play.
This season, Fleming made it to the state semi-finals game, but lost to Arickaree-Woodlin. Their season record was 9-2 including the post season.
This year was rough for Yuma, finishing the season 2-7 with no play-offs, but they did beat their rivals, Wray, to win the Harvest Cup.
The Lone Star Junior High football team did OK this year, despite having only one eighth grader. The eighth grader alternated between many different positions throughout the year. Overall, they had a pretty good season for such a young team. Mr.Parker and Mr. Arnoldy look forward to having a better 2015 season.
