Good afternoon Lone Star. This coming Tuesday May 5th, 7th through 12 grade track will be taking their track season pictures. Due to the 5/6 Ag trip that day, we will be rescheduling those pictures. Thank you.

Our seniors will be doing their cap stone presentations tomorrow starting at 1:10p.m. in the gym.

Good afternoon, Lone Star. Tomorrow, 4/30/26, our JH track team will travel to Prairie for our league track meet. This will be a combined league meet with the NCL league. However, we will be scoring each team with their own league. The bus will leave Lone Star at 7:00 a.m. sharp with a brief stop at the Travel Center in Sterling at 7:25 a.m. We hope to see you at the track!

Happy Monday, everyone! The Lone Star student council is bringing in the spring season with a dress up spirit week this week. Tuesday: “April Showers Bring May Flowers”-wear your floral gear/Hawaiian shirts! Wednesday: “Twin Day” – match outfits with a friend! Thursday: “Crazy Hat and Sock Day!” Friday: “Team Spirit Day” - wear any sports jersey!

Good evening Lone Star. High School track is off to Akron tomorrow for a meet. This meet is a bit different. Events starts at 3:00p.m. which means the bus will leave Lone Star at 1:30 with a stop in Otis. LET'S GO LONGHORNS!!!

The bus for the HS track meet in Kersey tomorrow will be leaving Lone Star at 7am with a stop in Otis.
The track meet schedule has been pushed back 30 minutes. Field events start at 10 and running events at 10:30.

Track practice for tonight has been cancelled.

Senior capstone presentations will be held on May 1st at 1:15 in the gym. All community members and parents are invited to these presentations.

Next Wednesday, all juniors will be going to NJC for a career exploration day. They will leave at 8:00 am and return by the end of the school day. If you would like the school to prepare a lunch please contact the office. We will also be stopping for lunch so please bring money if that is the option you choose.
