Due to District Basketball, tomorrow's Adutling Day has been postponed. The Boys Basketball team will play Otis in Brush at 11:30. There wil be an 8:00 pep rally at the school in the gym. The team bus will leave at 9:00. At 10:00, the Spirit Bus will leave. Students riding the spirit bus need to bring money for entry and lunch. The Spirit bus will return by 3:00.
Lone Star will be on a two-hour delayed start tomorrow. All bus routes will be storm routes and will run two hours later than the normal time. Breakfast will not be served tomorrow, and classes will begin at 10:00 am.
Due to deteriating weather conditions, we are closing the school immediately. Vicky's route will make one stop at the Family Dollar in Yuma. Rocky will be making one stop at Rogers. Mr. Bitterman will be taking his route to Otis. Classes will go virtual as soon as students get safely home.
Our plan for school today is to continue with our normal start time. We understand that this could cause difficulties as we have stakeholders travelling from many different directions. As parents, we would like you to make the decision for school attendance today based on individual family needs and road/weather conditions in your area. All absences will be excused in the office, but please communicate with the school if you can't be in attendance today. All district transportation will run storm routes.
Bus Routes for this Afternoon: Rocky will be running a regualr route. Vicky will be running a storm route with one stop in Otis and one stop at the Yuma feedlot.

High School District 5 Basketball Tournament information has been released. The girls will play Tuesday in Idalia and the boys will play Wednesday in Otis.

FFA WEEK SCHEDULE FOR NEXT WEEK:
Tuesday: There will be a community pancake breakfast from 7-8:30 am in the cafeteria. The dress theme for this day will be rancher, cowboy, or cowgirl.
Wednesday: Teacher and staff appreciation. Dress theme is OPTION 1: wear your favorite ag. brand gear (John Deere, Case, Chevy, Ford, etc.) or OPTION 2: Beach Day.
Thursday: Dress theme is hoodies and hats.
Friday: Dress theme is BLUE and GOLD.
TOMORROW:
HS Basketball Varsity Boys and Girls and ½ JV B – 2pm @ Flagler. The bus will leave at 11:15. There will be a pickup at Otis rest stop at 11:30.
WEEKLY UPDATES:
TODAY: 1/2 Boys Junior Varsity starting at 4:00 pm. Followed by Girls Varsity then Boys Varsity vs. Briggsdale. The 7th grade class will be having pizza for dinner!
Wednesday: Valentine's Day forms and money DUE.
Regional Spelling Bee in Brush at 10:00 am.
Friday: Class picture forms and money DUE
Valentine's Dance JH 7-9 pm. HS 9-11 pm. In the cafeteria.
