Don't Forget: FFA Member Sale and Oyster Fry tonight at Lone Star! Come on out and support our FFA Members and all of their hard work. Tomorrow: VB at Flagler at 1 PM - no fan number restrictions. JH C, JH B, JH A, followed by JV and Varsity. Masks still required. Bus leaves school at 10:30 AM. Bus will be stopping in Yuma on the way there at 10:50 and on the way home. Monday April 12 - JH and HS VB at home vs Hi-Plains, 1:00 PM, JH A and B and Varsity only.

Reminder: Juniors will be taking the SAT test on Tuesday, April 13th. Freshman and Sophomores will be taking the PSAT test on Thursday, April 15th.

From Lone Star Athletics: The game on Monday April 12th will start at 1 PM with JH B, JH A and Varsity. (please note the time change) . Reminder: Lone Star FFA is hosting the Member sale and Oyster Fry on Friday April 9th at 5.

From Lone Star Athletics: VB game at Otis on 4/8 at 4 PM. JH B and JH A followed by JV and Varsity. No fan restrictions, masks required. Gymnastics meet at Thornton on 4/7 at 5 PM, VB game at Flagler on 4/10 at 1 PM JH C, B and A, followed by JV and Varsity - No fan restrictions, masks required. Gymnastics meet RMHS at 4/10.

Announcement: Our new Lone Star APP will be alerting parents/guardians of your student's absence on a daily basis. This is a new system, please be patient with us as we are learning a new program and learning to better communicate to our community.

The bus for the Fleming game on Saturday will leave at 12:45 from the school. If anyone is meeting us in Fleming and not riding the bus, please contact coach Serrato to get it pre-approved. Players please dress in nice shirt and jeans. There is an A and B game for junior high and only Varsity for high school. Games start at 2:00 pm. Masks are required with no fan limitations. Lone Star fans will enter through the North side of the school. Go Longhorns!

Reminder: If you are interested in purchasing afghan or metal sign raffle tickets in support of the Curtis Dean Rhodes Scholarship please contact the office. From Lone Star Athletics: Today's game at Idalia starts at 4PM with JH B Girls, A Girls JH and HS JV and HS V. Thursday: Volleyball at Weldon Valley at 4PM, JH B Girls, A Girls JH and HS JV and HS V. Weldon Valley is limiting fans. We will have to have a gate list for each game with only 2 fans per athlete. Please contact Janet at the school with your fans. You will have to leave the gym if you don't have an athlete playing. They will charging gate for HS games only. Saturday we have a change to the games: VB starting at 2 PM at Fleming with JH B, then A followed by HS Varsity. Admission will be charged and Lone Star fans and athletes to enter on the NORTH side of the gym.

From Lone Star School: Volleyball games tomorrow at Idalia Starting at 4:00 JHB set to 25 JHA JV V Please dress up for the game. We will also be stopping in Yuma on the way home so if you need to do this let coach know.

From Coach Serrato: all junior high Volleyball players need to at the school at 12:15. Please dress in nice jeans and a nice shirt. All high school players be there by 1 PM, also in a nice shirt and nice jeans.

From Lone Star Volleyball: Coach Serrato would like all players in high school and junior high to attend the game tomorrow even if they will not be playing. Also please dress up, no jeans.

From Lone Star School: Tomorrow is our first day back from spring break. JH And HS volleyball at Peetz at 4PM. Tomorrow. JH B team and A team and HS Varsity will be playing. There will be a gate fee to get in but we will not have limits on fans! Prices: $5/ adults and $3/ kids/ students.

From Coach Serrato: reminder all JH volleyball player need to dress up for tomorrow’s game and Tuesday’s game.

Monday’s volleyball game at Akron is at 3:00 pm starting with B team. There will be A and B junior high and Jv and Varsity for high school. We will be leaving the school at 1:30 pm but high school needs to be there at 11:45 for a walk through and Junior high needs to be at the school at 12:45 to get their jerseys. If you are planning on meeting the bus at Akron it needs to be approved through Janet and Coach Serrato as well as riding back after the game arrangements. For junior high meeting at Akron, your jersey will be brought to you. Monday March 22nd JH Vball V Lone Star-C,B,A 3pm start HS Vball V Lone Star 5:30 pm start JV & V Masks need to be worn. fans will sit on the east side of the court. No gate restrictions

Game time has been Confirmed for Tomorrow. HS girls basketball play at Kit Carson at 5pm on March 11.

Lone Star HS girls Basketball team won in Round 1 against Kiowa. We are playing Tomorrow March 11 at Kit Carson. Tentatively at 5:00 PM, but we are waiting on confirmation from referee's. FYI: Today's game for our HS girls basketball team is the first round of a 32 team bracket State Tournament (top 8 teams get a bye) This year due to Covid, we will not have a regional tournament but go straight into this bracket. A win today would have us play Thursday March 11th. Today's game is at 5PM at Lone Star vs. Kiowa Indians.
