Congratulations to the Lone Star Girls Basketball team! They made it to Regionals and will play at Hi-Plains against DeBeque HS Friday, March 7th, at 6:30. The winner of that game will play again Saturday, March 8th, at 1pm also at Hi-Plains HS. The winner of the game Saturday advances to the State Tournament March 13-15th in Greeley. Come out and support our girls!
As a side note, Stormy Sports is unable to livestream the Regional games because Hi-Plains is a NFHS school. The games will be available on NFHS to watch, but there is a fee.
The bus will leave Lone Star for Sterling tomorrow morning at 930.
Our HS basketball teams will play in their final game of the regular season. The girls play at 11 at Sterling HS in Wally Post Gym. The boys will play at 330 also at Sterling HS in the Tiger Den. Come out and support our kids!
The HS Girls and Boys will play in round 2 of the YWKC/NCL tournament tomorrow at Sterling High School. Both games will be at Wally Post Gym.

The HS Boys will play their 1st round league tournament game this afternoon at 3:30. The bus will leave at 1.:15. The Girls will play Friday at 11 am and the Boys will play again Friday afternoon at 3:30 .

The HS basketball teams will travel to Flagler tomorrow, February 22nd. The games start at 1 with 1/2 JV girls and 1/2 JV boys followed by Girls and Boys Varsity. The bus will leave LS at 10:15 with a stop in Yuma.
Lone Star School District will also be closed tomorrow. After monitoring thermostats today, classrooms ranged from 53 -59 degrees. We believe that is too cold for our learners. Thank you for your understanding.
All staffing's for today are cancelled. We will work on rescheduling them later this week. Thank you.
The Pancake Breakfast scheduled for tomorrow morning will be postponed to Thursday morning (2/20) due to school closure tomorrow. Come support your amazing FFA kids!

Good Afternoon! The HS basketball teams will be in action tomorrow against Otis beginning at 4:30. This is the final home game of the season. As an additional treat, our Little Dribblers will be playing after the JV boys game and before the Girls Varsity. We hope to see lots of you supporting our Longhorns tomorrow!
