Lone star community,
We are looking for volunteers to judge volleyball lines and run scoreboard/ clock for our home games. If you are interested, please reach out to Peggy @ fisherp@lonestar.k12.co.us. If you are willing to help, the school will allow you to come to all home games for free this season.
Athletics schedule change:
The Otis volleyball and football games that were scheduled to be at Lone Star on Tuesday, September 3rd , have been moved to Otis.
HS volleyball team has left Caliche. We will be at Lone Star in 1 hour. Please be at Lone Star to pick up your athletes. Thank You

Good morning. High School Volleyball bus will be departing from Lone Star at 2:10p.m. JV-C will start at 4:00p.m. followed by JV and Varsity games. Hope to see you in Caliche.
High School Volleyball tomorrow at Caliche. JV-C will be starting at 4:00 with JV and Varsity games to follow.
The link below will provide information about a presentation that is coming to Lone Star on Thursday, the 29th. Adults from all surrounding communities are welcome to attend. We have two of the best presenting in Detective Cantrell and Rachelle Maker FNP- PMHNP. This is a presentation for adults only.

All bus routes will be running as normal this afternoon. If you have any questions, please contact the school.
Rain is a good thing!! Except for running bus routes. Routes will be a mud route tomorrow for Vickie's bus. Rocky and Alyssa's routes are cancelled for tomorrow morning. If you are not able to get to the school tomorrow due to roads please call the front office so we can excuse your child. We will update everyone for the afternoon routes tomorrow.
Volleyball bus is now leaving Wray. Please be at the appropriate stops to pick up your athletes.
Game times have changed for tomorrow's games.
JV will start at 5:00 with Varsity following.
Reminder!! 1st day of school is tomorrow! We are excited for the new year! We will begin serving breakfast at 7:30 and class starts at 7:50.
K-6th - Go to your classrooms.
7-12. - Go find your locker which will have your schedule attached to it and go to the cafeteria.
Reminder: There will be Junior High volleyball open gym tomorrow starting at 2:30-4:00.
Reminder to all students taking college classes. Online classes begin on Monday, August
19th ! Please make sure you are logging into your online NJC portal to be prepared for your courses.
Parents of students in concurrent enrollment (college) courses:
You will begin to see bills coming to your house for courses. Please bring those bills to the main office. The district will cover the tuition fees and parents are responsible for the remaining minimal fees.
Parents, Lone Star will be hosting a presentation about your children's safety online at Lone Star on August 29th. More information is attached. This presentation is only for adults.
