Hello Lone Star! Tomorrow our high school basketball teams will be traveling to Weldon Valley to take on the Warriors. Games will start at 4:00 p.m. with 2 qtrs. JV Boys, followed by Varsity Girls, then Varsity Boys. The bus will leave Lone Star tomorrow at 1:30 p.m. with a stop in Otis. If you would like your student to drive to Otis to be picked up, please reach out to Peggy Fisher. Thank You!

School will be cancelled on Friday, December, 5th. Bob Rogers memorial service will take place at the school at 11:00 am. Our thoughts are with the Rogers family, and the entire Lone Star community as we mourn this tremendous loss.
On December 19th, our high school students will be having a day of service for the Lone Star community. Lone Star feels it's important that our students get out in our communities and understand the importance of service learning. We would love the opportunity to get out in the community and help anyone in need. Please feel free to reach out so we can get you on our schedule! REMINDER: Mr. Bitterman will NOT be running a route for morning and afternoon tomorrow 11/19 and Thursday 11/20.
Next Wednesday, November 19th, all high school students will be attending the career fair at NJC. Students need to bring a sack lunch or money to buy lunch for this event. If you need the school to prepare a lunch for you please email Mrs. Biesemeier by Tuesday and we will make sure to take care of it.

We will be celebrating our JH & HS fall athletes with a banquet on Wednesday, Nov. 19th at 6:30 at the school. We will be serving turkey that was donated to us and are asking all of our athletes to bring sides to go along with Turkey.

Parent/Teacher conferences are scheduled for this Thursday, October 30th. Elementary teachers have contacted parents about their scheduled times and 7th-12th grade teachers will be in their classrooms from 4:00 - 7:00 to speak with any parents interested.
A couple side notes: Mrs. Vetter is at National FFA Convention and will not be available. If you would like to speak with Mrs. Vetter please contact the school or email her @ vetters@lonestar.k12.co.us
Also, Mrs. Ely will be having a meeting at 5:30 for all parents with students going on the Washington DC trip.
